Feby Abraham is the EVP, Chief Strategy Officer at Memorial Hermann Health System with a mandate to lead strategy & strategic planning for the system, and to drive its strategic investments & corporate development. Feby joined Memorial Hermann in January 2020.
Abraham brings with him more than 18 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Most recently, he served as a partner at McKinsey & Co., where he worked for nearly 12 years advising private equity funds across sectors, including health care. He has also worked closely with healthcare companies across the value chain, including bio-pharma, medical products, and health systems and services. His work has included corporate strategy in a disruptive environment, digital strategy, and business value creation topics
Before joining McKinsey in early 2008, Feby worked as a research investigator with a focus on data analytics and mathematical modeling at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Prior to GSK, Feby was a post-doctoral research scientist / engineer at the University of Pennsylvania working in medical imaging and robotic-assisted surgery. He also served as a research scientist and second member of the team for a startup developing mathematical software for use in ophthalmologic surgery.
Feby received a PhD in Mehanical Engineering, with a focus on applied mathematics from Rice University and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
